In Isaiah 42:6-10, Scripture declares the Word of the Lord, “I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth…”
The Lord declares new things for your life in 2025 and promises to hold our hand and go with us. He also gives us instruction to sing a new song unto Him. It is time we stop singing the same old song we've sang in 2024. But it's time for newness.
Scripture challenges us to walk in righteousness and turn a new leaf, sing a new song, walk with a new heart, experience a new glory, see with new eyes, and live in a new covenant. God makes all things new.
So whatever held you back in 2024, push it aside - because this is a brand new year with new vibrant opportunities. God desires to show up and show out in your life in ways you have not experienced before. He wants to show you something new. Fall on your knees, open the Word and read it and ask God to show you something new.
