I want to soar in my relationship with Christ. But just as in any good relationship - success requires work on our part. The promise of Scripture is clear. If we wait on the Lord, we will soar like the eagle.
Balloon satellites are known to fly up to 70,000 feet in the stratosphere. Birdwatchers are aware that eagles are great birds who know how to soar in altitudes of over 10,000 feet. Commercial jet aircraft fly up to 38,000 feet high in the altitude daily from coast to coast.
In the months ahead, I want you to accelerate to new heights in the power of God’s spirit. This world's problems of the past has knocked the wind out of many, but God’s plan for you is to soar above the altitudes. Stop the fear and place your trust in God.
Whatever you are praying about, wait on the Lord. He will guide you and give you new strength.
The prophet Isaiah declared, “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:28-31)
