Start planning and get rid of the roll with the tide type of mindset.  If you get up every morning and just flow through the day without a plan, you will fall hard over hurdles that get in your way and get stuck in a rut.  Take time to plan and know what your next step is.

Use a calendar, make notes, and keep a schedule. Journal. Make time for strengthening your personal relation with God through prayer and bible reading and be committed to this mindset. Also plan time to rest and refresh and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. Take a walk, breathe some fresh air, watch the birds, stroll by the creek and listen to what God is doing in the world. Make time to worship and keep your Sabbath holy. Daily put on the praise music, find joy in the little things and keep a dance in your feet.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” (Proverbs 16:3) Volunteer and serve the church.  Give your time to a shelter, clothes closet or the local soup kitchen. Have compassion on the less fortunate and be humble in your blessings. Schedule time for others.

If you fail to have a plan,” one very smart person said, “you will only plan to fail.”  So set a schedule and make a commitment to accomplish an organized and consistent lifestyle. Honor God with your talents and praise Him daily for His goodness.
