Lies and More Lies

Often, Satan disguises Himself as Light and as a Sheep, but Jesus refers to him as "the father of lies" in John 8:44. He will whisper to you lies and more lies. The enemy of your soul loves to create doubt in your heart for what God said. He wants to cause you to waiver in your trust in God's Word. He lies to you and backs you up to the last time things didn't go so well for you. He reminds you of all the times that you questioned where God was. He whispers lies and more lies in your ears and will keep whispering as long as you will listen.

But I want you to remember something today. Remember this if it's the only thing you remember: The Real War is in your mind. Your adversary will quote half truths to you. He will remind you of doubts, sickness, failures, troubles, heartache and times of desperation. Do not give in to his lies. Do not give up. But trust in God and what He declared in His Word. You can stand on the Truth of God's promises. 

John 8:31-32, "Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed Him, If you abide in My Word, then you are truly My disciples; and you shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free." It's time you and I conquer the Real War that goes on in our head that is created by the lies of the enemy.

Pay attention and learn to recognize your enemy at work against you. Pray daily and commit everything to God and He will see you through. Rejoice in the good, the lovely and the pure. God is faithful and your enemy only offers you lies and more lies.
