One powerfully strong and encouraging word given by the Psalmist in Psalm 71:20-21 is the simple word, Again. Read the Scripture and notice its repetition. In life when it seems we are at rock bottom and all hope is gone, it is important to realize God can do it again. When we are hanging off what seems to be a large rocky cliff by only one hand and we feel that hand slipping, God can do it again. When everyone around you gives up and throws in the towel, God says, "Hold on, I can do it again."
Our enemy can only back us up to our last experience where we saw the Hand of God move in our behalf. God will do it again. Whatever your need or anguish today, God can do it again. Place your trust in Him.
Psalm 71 resounds, "You caused me to experience many troubles and misfortunes, but You will revive me again. You will bring me up again, even from the depths of the earth. You will increase my honor and comfort me once again."
If you find yourself failing God, He can restore you again. Reach out to Him today and repent of your sins and iniquities. He will do it again. He will forgive you again. He will refresh your Spirit again. He will heal your body again. He will guide you in your decisions again.
In low tides and even times of desperation, we can firmly stand in faith that Our Sovereign Lord is able to do it again. He will come through when everyone around us fails us and circumstances are bleak. He is a Mighty God. And He desires to revive us again.
