Found Faithful

It takes a very special man to be a real Dad. And we need to express to them how greatly loved they are. We should ask forgiveness for not telling them often how valuable they are to us and how proud we are to call them, "Daddy" and not just on Father's Day in June each year.

I trust the Lord will also find me to be faithful in all areas of life.
Scripture shouts, "Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, but who can find a faithful man? The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him."

A faithful man will be faithful to his family. This man understands that a commitment to his wife and children is of upmost importance. He will climb heights and pull ropes from the pits to save and protect his family. He will work hard by the sweat of his brow to provide financially to meet the needs of his family. He will do what is necessary to provide security and protection for them. He will make great sacrifices to ensure the provision of those under his care. Scripture teaches that his children are blessed. And we should tell our Dads how grateful we are for them.

A faithful man will be faithful to his friends. When this man calls you his friend you can count on his loyalty. He will swim high waters and sacrifice his own life vest to save you in your time of need. His care for his friends is unselfish and loving. He will make personal sacrifices of time and energy to reach out in dedication to the man he calls a friend.

A faithful man will be faithful to his Heavenly Father. This man knows that without God he is nothing. He understands that he can have money, fame, women, success, possessions, careers and plans, but without a personal relationship with God, his life has no worth. He cultivates time with God in prayer and reading the Word. He spends time sharing with his wife and children that God is everything, the highest need of man. He forsakes all others if necessary to pursue God.

In summary, this describes a Faithful Father. Proverbs 20 asks, "Who Can Find Him?"
