Blessings

Every one desires to walk in the blessings and favor of God. No one ever wants to be exempt from the mighty Hand of God's blessing upon their lives. Yet the Apostle Paul declared in Ephesians 1:3 that God the Father has already "blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ". It is imperative that we keep our personal relationship with Christ strong if we want to experience blessings.

In Ephesians, we learn that the most important thing to Christ is that you & I experience spiritual wealth. God wants His very best for you.  He wants you to be blessed financially.  He desires that you walk in physical health. But most important to God (above everything) is that you and I experience spiritual blessings.  That we talk with Him daily and read His Word and maintain a relationship with Him. It's hard to keep a relationship strong without close communication.

One day, we have an appointment with death.  And when that day comes it really doesn't matter how much money is in the bank account.  What matters is where will we spend eternity. What's really important is that we have taken care of the spiritual matters of our life.  If you do not walk in spiritual wealth today, I ask that you pray with me now.  Ask God to restore you and forgive you, so you might 'be ready' for eternity.  

Before I committed my life to Him, I often delayed and thought I had plenty of time to make a decision to follow Christ.  But we are not guaranteed tomorrow. I thought to myself, in a few years I will commit, but not now. I encourage you - do not delay a decision to live for Christ, but make a choice today. Today is the day of salvation and now is the accepted time. We have no guarantee that we will see tomorrow come. It is what we do today that is vital.
