It's wonderful to know God personally and understand that we can pray with power and ask Him for the big and small things on our heart.
In Matthew 21:21-22, Scripture declares: "...If ye shall say unto this mountain be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive." Here we are told that we have power through prayer to move mountains and get answers. If we have faith to believe, then whatever we pray about, we shall receive.
This is a clear promise once again of the unwavering faithfulness of God to answer our prayers. And this promise should make us anxious to cry out to God in behalf of our need and our petitions. You and I can bring our supplications to God in faith, knowing that He hears us when we pray and He begins immediately at work on getting answers to our dilemma.
He is a faithful God who cares about His children in such a fervent way that He declares, "Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door will be opened." What a promise! It's wonderful that we can pray with power and proclaim all God's promises. So ask.
