Through my lifetime, I have found FAITH and FIRE often go together. Like coffee and donuts, Jack and Jill, and peanut butter and jelly - faith and fire typically team up in one strong union.
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
When the three Hebrews, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego walked out of the furnace of fire unharmed, it was because of their unshakeable faith in God and this miraculous act of deliverance, that the King acknowledged and gave praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who sent his angel and rescued his servants.
The King saw faith and fire come together and made a decree in the land that every nation and every people not ever be found speaking one word against the God of these three boys of faith. Their faith was a testimony to the unsaved that God is God.
