Sometimes in life, we face roadblocks. These roadblocks can be obstacles placed in our path by ourselves or others that can hinder clear travel to the destination God has planned for us. God's plan for us is to provide, protect, bless us and transform our lives. What we go through strengthens and changes us - and is meant to help us to mature in Christ.
Isaiah 57:14 declares, "And it will be said, Build up, Build up, Prepare the Road! Remove the obstacles out of the way..." (NIV) There are times we must decide to wallow in the place we are or reach for victory. We can make excuses for all the roadblocks and obstacles that have been placed in our path, or we can choose to jump over them and overcome the setbacks to achieve healing. This healing is not always physical, but can be emotional, spiritual and mental.
Psalm 40:2 tells the real story of how God reached down and you reached up. "He drew me up out of a horrible pit of tumult and destruction, out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings."
Don't let your roadblocks hinder a clear path to where God is trying to take you.
