If you've ever had the privilege to watch the television program Caught on Tape, your eyes will be opened to the response of individuals to a specific set of circumstances when they do not know they are being watched.
Think about it. When we are aware we are being watched, we are on our very best behavior. We are more polite and guard our manners. We pay attention to what we say and how we react, but the moment we think no one is watching we act differently. The most important character of life is integrity. What do we do when no one is watching?
But as believers we must realize that God is always watching. Our conduct should display impeccable character regardless of whether we are alone or in a crowd. Paul said in Acts 24:16, "I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man."
Perhaps it would be a good practice when we are alone to consider who is always watching. We should keep our hearts and minds pure before God and it will be evident through actions of integrity and uprightness.
