Your Feet

Just where are your feet taking you?  Have you noticed the path you are on right now?

A wise instruction in God's Word reads like this, "Make for thyself straight
paths for thy feet". And the writer of Proverbs continues this thought in Proverbs 4:25-27. He teaches us to,"Let your eyes look right on and let your eyelids look right before you." In other words, we should not venture off the straight path, but stay focused on God. We should also be careful to, "Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right or to the left: remove thy foot from evil."

We should carefully observe where our feet try to take us. Often, we can be misguided and tempted to veer off the straight path and follow those around us. Our peers must not persuade us where to walk. We must let all of our ways be established in righteousness (right-living), adhering to the precepts of God's Word.

The Holy Spirit who lives within every believer, will prompt you as to which way to go, what to say and what path to follow. We must learn to listen to that small still voice of wise guidance.
