Sufficient in God

"Therefore, I say unto you, whatsoever things ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Philippians 4:19

Sometimes our needs overwhelm us and we must realize that God is our sufficiency. He is everything, all we need. If there is something we desire, we must pray and ask God for it. He desires to give us our heart's desire.

We also must have faith to believe that God will provide whatsoever we ask of Him. In Scripture, He teaches that we have not because we ask not. Often, we think we are so smart we do not need God's help. We seem to think we can work it out, we can fix it, we can resolve the issue. But God says, whatever you desire when you pray, have faith and ask God. He desires to give good things to His children, just as an earthly father desires to give good things to his children.

Pray often, asking God for what is on y0ur heart in faith that God will grant your petitions. Your sufficiency is of God.
